Better known as Butterfly Beth. I paint faces, twist balloons and bring the glow with UV paint to parties and events across Northern Ireland and Ireland.

I’m Bethany, a face painter and balloon artist working all over Northern Ireland and Ireland, from back-garden birthday parties and hen parties to weddings, festival fields and UV nights out.

Before the brushes come out
Good to know
- Safe, professional paints. I use water-based paints made for professional use that comply with UK safety regulations. They wash off with mild soap and water.
- Worried about a reaction? I can do a patch test, or paint a small design on a hand or arm first.
- The littlest ones. Under-3s aren’t face painted, but 2 to 3 year olds can have a small design on their hand or arm.
- Keeping everyone safe. I can’t paint over cold sores, conjunctivitis, chicken pox, impetigo, cuts or irritated skin.
- Grown-ups nearby. Children need to be with someone over 18, and no one is ever made to get painted.
- Ready for the chair. Clean faces (and wiped noses!) please, before you queue.
